The gemstones are either wire wrapped in 14kt gold filled wires or mounted on 24kt gold vermeil ball headpins. 

The top amethyst rondelles are flanked by 14 kt gold filled saucer beads.

These alluring earrings measure a total length of 2 3/8 inches to the bottom of the lowest gemstone, including 14kt gold filled French hook ear wires.
